We now have a dedicated Safety Incident Reporting Form available for anyone in the Colorado West Coast Swing community. This form gives dancers a confidential way to report incidents such as physical assault, sexual misconduct, harassment, intimidation, discrimination or other behaviors that compromise the safety of our dance spaces.

Reports can be submitted if you personally experienced something, witnessed it or were told about it. You can include your name or remain anonymous. Only the interim safety leads have access to the information.

Note: We are also working toward forming an elected committee of safety leads so this process can become a more permanent and community-driven structure.

Information is shared with event organizers only when appropriate and with your permission. In situations that meet legal mandatory-reporting requirements involving a minor or vulnerable adult, further steps may need to be taken (ex: reporting to law enforcement).

Even if you’re unsure whether something is “serious enough,” documenting it helps us identify patterns and address potential risks more effectively.
